The Cocoon Cam uses IR LEDs to activate the night vision. When the view switches from day to light (or vice versa), the camera lens will switch. Anything covering the sensor can create a shadow and activate the night vision.
If your camera seems to be getting darker, please check your power source. Dodgy power can cause flickering and color changes as the shutter in the camera switches from day to night.
If you experience any issues, please contact us with your DID ID (you can find the DID ID in the Cocoon Cam app under My Account >> Camera Details and will begin with VIEW).
