Where do I find the DID ID?
You can find the DID ID in your Cocoon Cam App under: My Account → Camera Details. It will begin with “VIEW”
What do I do if I am getting an Offline or Unreachable error?
If you're receiving any offline or unreachable errors, please try the following:
- Power cycle the camera
- To do this, please unplug from the power source and replug after 30 seconds
- Check your internet speed
- To do this, google "speed test" and run it on your phone near the camera placement
- Make sure your phone, camera, and app are up to date

My camera makes a loud beeping noise. What does that mean?
If you have an older camera and have not yet upgraded to the latest Cocoon Cam app, your camera may beep as an indication of being turned on. It will also beep during WiFi configuration.
Please make sure you have the latest app update downloaded to avoid beeping. You can download the latest Android and iOS app here.
Does Cocoon Cam guarantee the safety of my baby?
No, Cocoon Cam is a consumer product that provides parents information into their baby’s well being while in their crib or bassinet. The Cocoon Cam is not an FDA-approved medical device and is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, alleviate or prevent any disease or health condition or investigate, replace, or modify any physiological process. Is WiFi required?
Yes, WiFi is required for the Cocoon Cam. Please see our Network Requirements here.
Is there a warranty on the Cocoon Cam?
Cocoon Cam guarantees a one year warranty when you purchase directly from us or for one of our authorized retailers, including:

Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes, we have a 100-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with your Cocoon Cam, you have 100 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a full refund. Please see our full return policy here.
Can more than one person monitor our child via smartphone?
Yes, you can invite up to 6 people to access your Cocoon Cam via their own smartphone. Please see instructions here.
What happens if my phone doesn’t have service or my WiFi goes down?
The Cocoon Cam currently does not support local streaming. You will need a strong 2.4 GHz internet connection.
Will Cocoon Cam ship internationally?
No, we do not support international customers at this time. The Cocoon Cam services are available only in the United States. We have not tested outside of the country. We comply with US privacy laws but not with the GDPR or other international privacy laws.
Does Cocoon Cam emit harmful rays?

How is this technology different from other monitors on the market?
Cocoon Cam is the most advanced baby wellness monitor in the world. Our team of computer vision engineers (many of whom are also parents!) have applied their deep knowledge of AI technology to the baby monitor. We've created a completely non-invasive way to monitor your baby's wellness, without the use of wearables or mats (like other monitors out there).
Which iOS devices are compatible with the Cocoon Cam app?
Cocoon Cam is compatible with Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (*Must have version iOS 11 or older)
Which Android devices are compatible with the Cocoon Cam app?
Cocoon Cam is compatible with Google Pixel, Samsung or any Android device (*Must have Android 7 and older)
What if I don't have a smartphone?
Currently we are only available on Android and iOS devices. Please make sure you have the latest OS update on your phone for usage and security.
Can I use my HSA/FSA to purchase Cocoon Cam?
Yes, Cocoon Cam is HSA/FSA approved.
The camera does not cover the whole mattress properly at 3 feet height from the mattress. Can I mount the Cocoon Cam higher?
For newborns we recommend that the camera be 3 ft from the mattress. During this age, usually the mattress is in the highest position in the crib but also the baby does not move around a lot. As long as the baby is placed in the camera’s field of view, and takes up 50% of the view, the detection will be accurate!
When they get older and start moving around, parents usually lower the height of the mattress. When you lower the mattress, the camera will cover the whole mattress in the same position. You don’t have to move the camera once mounted. For two year old babies, the camera can work up to 5 feet away from the baby.
How do I activate the breathing monitoring?
The breathing monitoring feature is available upon set up of your Cocoon Cam. Note: baby must be still for at least 15 second for the breathing rate to be captured.
Can I have multiple cameras?
Yes! The Cocoon Cam supports multiple cameras to be added to your app. You will be able to customize notifications for each and toggle between each view. NOTE: Only one baby should be in view of each camera.
